1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using ConvertMate.in, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. What ConvertMate.in is

ConvertMate.in provides free and paid online tools for file conversion, compression, and productivity including PDF tools, image tools, video converter, QR code generator, EMI calculator and AI-powered features.

We provide these tools as-is and make no guarantee that every conversion will be perfect for every file type.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use ConvertMate.in only for lawful purposes. You must NOT:

• Upload files that contain malware, viruses or malicious code
• Upload files that infringe copyright or intellectual property rights of others
• Upload illegal content of any kind
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack or disrupt our service
• Use automated bots to overload our servers
• Resell our free service as your own without permission
• Upload files containing personal data of others without their consent

4. Your files and content

• You retain full ownership of all files you upload
• You are responsible for having the right to convert the files you upload
• All uploaded files are automatically deleted within 1 hour
• We do not claim any rights over your files or their contents

5. Free plan limitations

The free plan includes:

• 3 conversions per day
• Maximum file size of 10MB per file
• Advertisements displayed on all pages
• Standard processing speed

We reserve the right to change free plan limits at any time with reasonable notice.

6. Pro plan and payments

• Pro plan is billed monthly or yearly as selected at checkout
• Payments are processed securely by Razorpay
• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• We offer a 7-day refund policy for first-time subscribers who are unsatisfied
• Refund requests must be sent to hello@convertmate.in within 7 days of payment

7. Disclaimer of warranties

ConvertMate.in is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The service will be available 100% of the time
• Every file conversion will be perfect
• The service will meet your specific requirements

We are not liable for any data loss resulting from use of our service. Always keep backups of important files.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ConvertMate.in and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the last 3 months.

9. Intellectual property

The ConvertMate.in name, logo, website design and content are our intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce or use them without written permission. However, you are free to share links to our tools.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of ConvertMate.in after changes means you accept the updated terms. We will update the date at the top of this page when changes are made.

11. Governing law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
